2 concealers you need to try!

Happy Sunday everyone!!

Ugh, I hate this time on a Sunday, because it means the weekend is nearly over, and I have work tomorrow, boo!

I thought I would share a more detailed review of why I am loving these two concealers at the moment, and maybe if you haven’t tried them already you should give them a go 🙂

So I am currently loving the Nars Creamy Concealer and the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. Obviously there is a big difference in price, but this is why I thought I would review both of them for you to give you an idea.

What I love about Nars Creamy Concealer?

I got this for Christmas and I haven’t stopped raving about it! I got this in shade ‘Vanilla’, and it is one of the lightest shades you can buy. I got this shade because I like to use my concealer as a cover up under my foundation, but also I use it to highlight under the eyes etc to finish off my face. This costs £23 (you can buy it here on ASOS) at the moment, so I think it is rather pricey for a concealer, but obviously it would be because it’s Nars. This is also my first Nars product and I am impressed, so will look to get some more products v.soon (any recommendations would be great). The thing I love about this product is the fact there are so many shades to choose from, so it’s got every skin tone covered. Also, the coverage is so good and is so worth spending £23 on! I think it does a really good job at covering under eye dark circles and also it’s great for highlighting under the eye. Although I’d say the coverage is full, it’s not too heavy and looks natural still and it comes as a stick application, so really easy to apply! I LOVE it.

Why I am loving the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer?

First of all, let me just say this product is great for the price tag. I have tried many high street concealers in the past and I haven’t stumbled across one as good as this before. This cost just over £4 and you can pick one up here. I got this the lightest shade available I think, which was the fair shade 1. As I said, this is because I also use it as a highlighter. The only down side to this concealer is that I haven’t come across lots of shades to choose from, but I don’t really think it matters as much because it is a concealer and not a foundation. This concealer I’d say has a more medium coverage, compared to the Nars one, and has a more watery base, but it applies so well (in a stick form as well). Although this is a cheap concealer I think it lasts long and does the job really well. Also, because of the price, I like to use this one everyday at work and I am really loving it 🙂

Sooo… have you tried these products before, if so what are your thoughts, and are there any other concealers I should try??

I keep wanting to try the Nars one, but I don’t want to drop that kind of money in case I hate it. I wonder if I can get a sample from John Lewis…

The Collection one I’ve tried and thought was good but not fantastic, so I ended up moving on to others. Current favourite is the Healthy Mix one from Bourjois.

The Nars one is really really good but I can understand it’s quite a bit of money for a concealer but I got it as a gift for Christmas so I was pleased. oooh I think I need to try that one. Im currently obsessed with the Healthy Mix foundation so need to give this a go 🙂 xx

Everyone’s been raving about that NARS concealer – I want it too, but I just picked up a new concealer! I’m currently using Laura Mercier Candleglow, and it covers up my dark circles nicely without looking flat.

I’ve heard so much about the lasting perfection concealer, I really want to try it! I love the NARS one. I’ve tried a NARS bronzer and lipsticks and I really like them, although with the lipstick you don’t get a lot of product for your money!

I love the collection concealer but recently have found it’s a bit heavy for my eyes and leaves them a bit sore. Maybe I’ll have to try the Nars one, sounds like a great alternative!xx
