Hey everyone, I hope you’re well.
I haven’t been in the right mind frame for blogging the last few days, even though I’ve been off work and had all the time in the world! Anyway, I thought I’d share my new found love, which is the beautiful brand, Charlotte Tilbury!
I recently bought few bits from there as firstly, I couldn’t resist the stunning packaging and secondly, I’ve heard super good things about the products.
So firstly, I went on the site and saw there were some items in the sale, which is quite rare I think so I had to take a look! I had seen CT Quick ‘n’ Easy kits since they came out last year and I have always wanted one, but I never had a spare £55. So when I saw they were on offer for £33, I had to buy one.
I still think for £55 it is a really good purchase because you get 4 things in the bag (including the lovely makeup bag as well).
In this one you get:
- Eyes: Colour Chameleon in Black Diamonds
- Rock ‘N’ Kohl Eye Liner in Bedroom Black
- Mini Legendary Lashes Mascara
- Lip: K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Penelope Pink
Honestly, everything is so gorgeous! When it came I was so excited to open it up and look at the each and every one to see if it was as good as I’d hoped.
Firstly, I just want to say, I ended up hosting a giveaway and giving away the K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in shade ‘Penelope Pink’ and also the Colour Chameleon in Black Diamonds. CT accidentally sent me 2 of those in the bag instead of the Mascara, so they sent me that separately.
Anyway, the lipstick was such a gorgeous shade, and I was gutted to be giving it away because I definitely would have worn that shade a lot.
So that brings me on to the other item I bought to keep (as I needed one of her lipsticks!) which was the Matt Revolution- Pillowtalk!!!! Oh wow, it’s soooo beautiful! It is quite a dark rose shade, so I’m not sure it will suit everyone, and I’d have to wear it with a bit of bronzer to make sure I don’t wash my face out, but it it’s really pigmented and long-lasting (which is what I NEED in a lipstick).
I’d say it is one of my favourite shades of lipsticks! It is £24 (which is on the pricier side!!), you can pick it up here.
So, overall my first impressions of Charlotte Tilbury are really good. I know it is pricey and you have to pluck up the courage to press the ‘pay now’ button (well I do anyway). However, the products are worth spending the extra bit of cash on.
The eyeliner is SOOOO pigmented and literally the best eyeliner I’ve tried. I don’t wear eyeliner often, only really when I go out for the night, but I will be picking this up whenever I do now!
Again, the Chameleon in Black Diamonds I won’t be wearing often, but when I do go for a drastic eye look I cannot wait to wear this properly. It is also so pigmented and although it’s black the glitter in it tones it down so it’s not too intense which is what I was worried about.
In the back I got a mini Legendary Lashes Mascara. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s the mini version but although I like it, it seemed quite clumpy and thick, however I think it is a good mascara to apply on top of layers bit of mascara already.
There we have it, my first impressions on Charlotte Tilbury, and I feel sorry for my bank account as I’m sure (especially around the next few months) I will be picking up some more bits as it’s such a beautiful brand.
Have you tried CT? If you have what’s your favourite product?
