Gioventu Natural Vitamin Oil And Coconut Oil Put To The Test

Gioventu skincare

Hey everyone!

Welcome back to another skincare post!

FYI – I am currently writing this post with a bit of dribble running down my chin as I’ve just sneezed 2568275 times 🙂 🙂 🙂 :).

I think it’s important especially around this time of year to really take take of your largest organ – which is of course your skin.

I’ve had quite a rough ride with my skin since I was a very little girl, and I am only just starting to feel comfortable in my own skin (which is quite sad really). With this in mind, I am so grateful for all the opportunities blogging has opened up especially with the skincare products I’ve been able to try!

I am so happy as a baby blogger to be supporting small independent companies, especially if the products are as good as these.

Gioventù Cosmetics emailed me to say they would like to send me some samples to review, which is exactly what I’m doing.

Gioventu is a UK based brand and sell honest, natural skincare products.

Taken from the website they claim..

We source organic and fair trade ingredients wherever possible for all our products. Gioventu Cosmetics understands the responsibility of ecology as well as caring for your skin. We can also assure you that all of our products are cruelty free.

I like the sound of this as I especially like using organic products seeing as my skin is so sensitive and can react to modified products!

On to the products I’ve tried…..

Gioventù Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil (15ml) – £2.99

I don’t need to go into too much detail, as most of you reading this will probably already know the benefits of using coconut oil. I love using coconut oil, and although you can use this on your face and skin, for some reason it seems to make mine slightly itchy, so I stick to using it on my hair.

This is a really small bottle. but a little goes a long way. I actually put this on first of all after I’d washed my hair and I may have put a bit too much on as when I was drying my hair it ended up looking greasy, but then after a few brushes the oil seemed to have sunk in and my hair looked normal and healthy. I think next time I’m going to soak my hair in this over night and then wash it out in the morning to see how that impacts it. However, I really like this! I think it’s a must have for keeping hair and skin healthy 🙂

Natural Vitamin E Oil (15ml) – £2.99

On the website they say this about the product…

Natural vitamin E oil is a powerful antioxidant and is vital for maintaining optimal skin health. It can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles and can be applied at night as a heavy moisturizer. Excellent for dry skin conditions and can help rejuvenate, revitalize and restore the skins natural elasticity.

Now I actually got on with this oil really well. After I used it my skin very super smooth, and even in the morning or a few days later my skin didn’t flare up with spots and blemishes etc. It actually really helped cure dry skin, so it’s perfect for this time of year!

The oil has no smell at all to it, and is tinted slightly yellow, but is really easy to apply!

I am loving these two at the moment, and I would highly recommend taking a look at the products on the site as they are really affordable and I think really beneficial!

Anyway, I hope you liked this post, let me know your thoughts on these products!

Lots of love,

Rebecca xx

I haven’t heard of this brand before but I agree, it’s great to support smaller brands and help to spread the word. I love using oils within my skincare routine and these two sound great. Shame you didn’t get on with the coconut oil. I know some find it drying. The vitamin E Oil sounds lovely though. Love the little bottles. Perfect for your bag!
