Give Yourself A Break… See The World!

If you feel as though you’re always rushing around, as though you might not have as much personal time to yourself as you would like, then you really do need to take a break. What better way to take a break than going on a little travelling holiday to see the world. Those that do it say it’s the best decision they’ve ever made in their life. Those that don’t regret it until they’re old and grey! There’s so many travelling opportunities available, and you don’t even need to be going for long periods of time. Just squeezing in a few holidays a year is all you need! Here are some destinations that should be on your hit list.

We’ll start off with the biggest journey first. A trip to the USA is a trip of a lifetime, and there’s just so many different areas that you can go to. There are some of the more popular areas that people always chose, but we think that going for the ones that aren’t as commercialised are the best. For example, Pittsburgh. It is a lovely little city found in the state of Pennsylvania, and it really does have a ton of things to do and plenty of character. Because it’s not so mainstream, you can find cheap deals on accomodation, the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott being one of them. Because it’s not so mainstream, you will generally find that everything will be a lot cheaper, from the attractions you visit, to the food you buy. One of the attractions that we think you’ll love, whether travelling with a family or not, is the Kennywood theme park. It’ll just add a little bit of a thrill to your holiday! Mount Washington is also a popular place. It’s a row of restaurants with a huge mountain overlooking it. It really does give you food with a view!

Budapest is a completely different holiday to a trip to the US, but it’s just as good. If you’re going to go to Budapest, you need to immerse yourself into the history and culture. There’s so much to see there in the way of museums, historical buildings, and churches. One we definitely recommend you look at is the Fisherman’s Bastion. It truly does look like a castle from a fairytale, and it stands so perfectly and clean! Budapest is also famous for its thermal spas which should definitely be on your hit list.

Switzerland is one of the best countries to visit because it’s just so calm and lovely. Everyone there is out to be your friend, and it has been voted one of the best countries to live in in the world. One thing you will be blown away by is the scenery. The vast mountains, green planes, and lakes with the most clear water you’ve ever seen. Lake Constance and Lake Geneva should definitely be two of your tops on your tour around the country. They’re two of the biggest and best lakes they have, and both are surrounded by cute little Swedish towns to explore.

Where’s your favourite place to go?

What a fab post, I love travelling and I’m always thinking about where I can head to next! I really love the look of Budapest and I’ve always dreamed of going to New York although that’s definitely more mainstream! But I have so many destinations on my list.

Im so glad you included Budapest! I really want to go, I keep seeing it come up on city break deals and there always really good offers. Do you have any recommendations on where is best to stay?

Love the blog too! Keep up the good work!
