Hey everyone, well it’s been a while since I’ve sat down and written a blog post. To tell you the truth, it’s mainly because I have been without internet for a while at home and I’ve only just had it installed. YAYYYY. so I’m getting back to it! Kicking it off with a blog post about great things to buy from eBay, showing you some of the things I’ve been buying recently and my thoughts on these!
So you may have seen a few people buying bikinis and swimwear from eBay but I bet you’ve wondered whether or not they are any good. I always had the same thought, and always wondered whether I’d be wasting my money if I were to buy one.
I really enjoyed scrolling through all the different ‘shops’ on eBay that sold bikini’s and I finally come across one that sold a range of which all I liked. The bikini I bought was from this shop and it was £5.95! Ordered the set in a size 14 because I have fairly big boobs and a bum so I wanted to go bigger to make sure it fit.
So what’s the verdict….
Well, I got the right colour, and size (which is always a good start) and overall I quite like the bikini! The bottoms are high waisted as pictured in the photo and the material is almost ribbed like so it’s not super thin. As for the bikini top, although it is a size 14, it is still pretty snug but I can work with it and I can’t wait to wear it on my holiday 🙂
Overall, I think for £5.95 it really is worth it, and I’d definitely check out eBay for bikinis. Top tip would be to read the reviews – especially those that include photos so you can get a better picture before buying.
If you love taking pretty flatlays or any photographs for that matter, eBay is a great start when looking for little props like jewellery. I have ordered a few bits from there and they have been super cheap and always make a photo look extra pretty too.
I like the look of gold jewellery or at least jewellery that looks gold anyway! I think with eBay you have to be very specific with what you search as there are soooo many products on there a broad search will bring you loads of results.
I searched for example gold wishbone necklace and as that’s so specific it brings up exactly that. I mean for £3.49 or so you can’t really go wrong and it’ll look really pretty in photos or round your neck ha!
I recently picked up this really cute gold bangle as well for photos and it come really quick and looks so beaut! I think this one was only a few pounds as well!
You know them gorgeous round straw bags that you might have seen in person or in people’s Instagram photos? Well, I found one for around £15 on eBay and I am IN LOVE. I had a couple of this style saved on my ASOS and on Tophsop but they were retailing for around £25. UNTIL I found this little beauty one eBay for £10 cheaper!
The quality of the bag is absolutely fine, it is lined with this lovely blue and white stripe material and has a gorge brown faux leather body strap.
So, these are just a few bits I’ve been buying on eBay recently to try and save some money – and I’m really pleased with the outcome of all of them!
Have you tried buying anything like this from eBay if so what would you recommend?
