I wanted to share this post with you, because I recently started feeling the ‘struggle’ with trying to mange EVERYTHING in life! Does anyone else struggle with this??
I have only recently started blogging properly and investing time, but to be honest I have invested a LOT of my time, and so other things have slipped – not great.
Obviously, I work full time Monday- Friday, so I only really have the evenings and weekends to plan, take photos, write posts and reply to comments and emails etc. This means, sometimes I have to ‘skip’ a dog walk with my puppy, or ‘neglect’ my boyfriend as he likes to say, or say no to after work socialising. Obviously, I don’t like saying no, but I guess when you’re starting a blog you do have to invest quite a bit of your time to really get it going.
I am really enjoying this though, I enjoy writing posts and reading your comments about how you like what you see, it makes me realise the time i’m investing in this is worthwhile I guess. I also like getting to best tips and tricks from all other bloggers. I’ve learned a lot and found some really good products thanks to all you guys. So…THANK YOU!!
But, what I have realised, is that, although this is super fun and I will continue to invest a lot of time and effort into this, I do think it’s important not to forget ‘real life’. I think it’s important to realise this now, as later down the line I can see that it may not be so easy to realise.
With this in mind, I have set aside two days a week to post on my blog. I am going to try and stick to Wednesday’s and Sunday’s, so keep an eye out on updates 🙂
