Evening everyone! I hope you’re having a good start to the week.
I thought I’d share with you some great beauty items I picked up from Boots/Superdrug, which were all really great prices! I love it when I see bloggers review products that are really good and are so much cheaper than designer brands, I feel like I need to try them out just because of the price. So hopefully you find this post useful and maybe try some out for yourself 🙂
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara – £5.25 on Feel Unique now
So I received Benefit’s Roller Lash for Christmas and I instantly fell in love with it. I think partly because I like it when I use a brand new mascara, it always seems so much better, but everything about this mascara I loved. Which brings me on to this one…. I have heard this is a really good high street mascara and because a girl can never have too many mascaras, I thought I’d give this ago. I LOVE IT! I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and it achieves the same results I’d say as the Benefit one. It has a curved rubber brush and just creates the nicest look! If you haven’t tried it, you just need to basically.
L’oreal True Match Liquid Glow Illuminator – £6.99 on ASOS
You can buy this product in 2 shades I think; Ice Glow and Golden Glow. I bought it in Golden Glow as I wanted to achieve a bronzed look. A lovely girl at work actually told me about this (shout out to Sarah) as we were talking about Lydia Millen’s go-to By Terry product and Sarah mentioned this as a cheap kind of alternative. So obvs I bought it. I really like it – I actually mix it in with my foundation so it gives my foundation a glowy shimmery look. I’d say it look a bit mor matt than the By Terry one but it still does affect your look and just adds a bit of warmth to your tone!
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – £4.19 in Boots
I think nearly every blogger has heard of this concealer and if you’re reading it her first then I’m glad you are. I actually love this concealer. Again, I was bought an expensive concealer for Christmas (Nars Creamy Concealer) which I love by the way. But if you’re like me, I use concealer all the time, so I feel a little less guilty using this cheap one every day rather than my Nars one. I bought this in shade fair, and I use it as a bit of highlight under my eyes as well as under my foundation – it works wonders!
Maybelline Matte Lipsticks – £6.99
If you love a MAC matte, which I definitely do, you need to try these if you haven’t. I have fallen in love with Maybelline’s lipsticks and I wear them pretty much most days’s at work! They have some beautiful nude/nuetral pinky colours to choose from, and unlike a lot of matte lipsticks, they are so amazing on you lips. They do not make your lips feel dry and horrible at all, and they last pretty long too! These are often on offer in Boots/Superdrug, so it’s worth keeping an eye out!
So that’s it for me for now. Have you tried any of these products…what are your thoughts?
